You will be working as a Sales Manager and will be part of the Industrial Automation Business area for Energy Industries Division based in Bahrain.

In this role, you will be reporting to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Service Manager and will be responsible for market coverage and achievement of order growth utilizing portfolios from ABB group companies.

You will also be remain accountable for building up profitable order backlog and healthy pipeline to achieve qualitative and quantitative growth year on year.

Your responsibilities

  • Achieving order growth by utilizing entire portfolios of the organisation.
  • Developing and maintaining healthy opportunity pipeline in line with the growth plan.
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies of global business line functions of energy industries for the allocated market.
  • Working as the key person towards ABB in providing details of market demand and drivers.
  • Collaborating with the key resources within the organization, identifying market potential from the installed base (IB), provide cost effective value-based solutions to the customers.
  • Establishing long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding their requirements, regulating and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products.
  • Retaining existing customers and acquiring new customer base.
  • Supporting peers by participating in sales activities when needed. Providing feedback and remain updated with status of the market including that of competition.

  • Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Automation engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years’ of experience in sales with external customers along with good understanding of automation and electrical systems applicable to industries in the given market.
  • Required knowledge of ABB’s integrated portfolios for industries along with ABB’s Ability portfolios is highly recommended.
  • Required strong customer focus, result-oriented, leadership, service mindset and ability to work across reporting lines.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
