The Material & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the interface between engineering, procurement and construction is operating correctly so that the material management system provides full visibility of all material and equipment from bid to utilization.
Coordination of materials delivery
Monitor & Control of Site / Field material control interfaces;
Ensuring that the appropriate materials are at the right sites at the right time.
Ensure that all materials and equipment are defined, quantified and received in a timely manner to provide the necessary information, materials and equipment to Construction in accordance with the PROJECT schedule;
Participate in PROJECT execution meetings to establish PROJECT materials requirements planning activities, schedule and responsibilities;
Establish PROJECT specific data parameters, file numbering structures and contingency allowances for bulk materials;
Establish, co-ordinate and operate materials systems and processes defined in the project Material Control plan;
Coordinate system interface requirements relating to the identification and control of materials (for example specifications, equipment, piping, electrical, instruments, civil, structural, other engineering CONTRACTORs, VENDORs, SUBVENDORs);
Supervise material deliveries to ensure accurate and complete MTO data is entered into the materials management system.
Computer skills / SPM and PTS management systems
Experience with refinery projects, hydrocarbons or onshore oil & gas.
