Candidate MUST have worked as a General Manager (GM) / Country Manager / Division Head / Similar in a Car Rental company in Bahrain
Candidate MUST be able to manage / improve / develop further the sales and business operations.
Compensation Range : BHD 1200 to BHD 1500 + Attractive Profit Sharing Structure + Car + Family Sponsorship and Tickets
The Country Manager will be responsible for the development of new business, retention of existing customers, building winning relationships with clients and suppliers, meeting the revenue growth targets and managing the operations and sales team.
Duties and responsibilities
Hiring all management positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department manager (includes administrative, sales, parts, collision and service departments).
Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval.
Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
Reviewing and revamping the policies and procedures of the organization, and ensuring the same is effectively communicated to all levels of staff.
Providing dealership management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.
Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management / dealership owners.
Coordinating with the business / administrative office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained.
Creating a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel and maintaining these relationships.
Coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
Overseeing the hiring and training of all department managers.
Maintaining an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale.
Overseeing and maintaining compensation plans for all employees.
Creating cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.
Focusing on any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
Represents the enterprise at conferences, meetings, exhibits, and other special events; promotes new and existing programs and initiatives.
Manage and develop client relations
Manage the Brand's requirements and expectations, ensuring the Franchise management's dependence on the company's ability is always high
Manage clients expectations through liaison with internal departments, keeping clients updated on project developments and building sustainable long term client relationships
Coordinate with internal departments and ensure the team delivers the client requirements on schedule and to the highest standard
Coordinate with finance to follow up with clients on payments and ensure a steady cash flow for projects
Visit existing and potential clients
Any other reasonable tasks, as instructed by Management.
Knowledge, Skill, Ability & Behavioral Competencies (KSAB)
Education Bachelors Degree in Management
Professional / Technical Certification Certifications related to the Automotive (Car Rental) + Certifications in Finance
Language English & Arabic (Preferred not mandatory)
Legislation / Compliance Laws governing Car Rental Operations, Bahrain Labour + Commercial Law
Specialized knowledge Finance, Car Rental Operations, Negotiation
Experience at least 7 - 8 years of experience, in a similar role, in the Car Rental industry. Must have proven Division Management, Business Development and Franchise Management experience.
