84091 Overall Role Purpose

  • The Crew Bus driver is responsible for the timely delivery of Aircrew to / from the Airport to DHL landside and from the Airport to Aircraft.
  • Specific Role Context & Challenges

  • The Crew Bus driver is responsible for the timely delivery of Aircrew to / from the Airport to DHL landside and from the Airport to Aircraft.
  • To successfully support the operation to ensure Crew members arrive and depart the aircraft in a timely manner thus ensuring on time departures.
  • Accountabilities

  • Check Daily Movement schedule provided by Airside Ops.
  • Report any technical issues with Crew Bus
  • Daily check of vehicle (visual check +oil +water)
  • Vehicle appearance
  • Follows all procedures issued by the Flight Operations Manager
  • Other relevant dimension

  • 20 30 flights transit BAH every day.
  • Crew bus driver covers all flights airside, and transfer to / from DHL to Airport for DHL Aviation Crew.
  • Movements busier at night so 2 drivers are employed airside and 1 landside.
  • Crew bus driver also manage passengers and mechanics movements airside as well as general Staff movements on demand.
  • 24 hour coverage by crew bus driver.

  • Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Driving Experience required.
  • Valid Bahraini Driving Licence is a must and Airside Driving licence preferred (or willing to obtain).
  • Fluent in communication in both, Arabic & English.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with people from various cultures.
