Role Overview

The Head of Account Management leads and oversees activities of the entire account management team, including key account management, on a national level.

He / she expands and maintains relationships with strategically important and large clients as well as making sure all the department KPIs and targets are being met.

The Head of Account Management represents the whole spectrum of the business’ products and services to the assigned clients.

He / she also leads account planning and ensures that all assigned partners' accounts are catered for and that their needs and expectations are given attention and addressed.

What You'll Do

  • Manage strategic projects within the account management team
  • Work with program managers to deep dive into the scalable tools and processes needed in the team
  • Manage data analytics projects in the team with the support of program managers
  • Coach and develop your team
  • Seek for and achieve restaurant industry deep understanding to bring true value to conversations with key accounts
  • Drive expansion of existing partners
  • Clearly understand and communicate the value of Carriage to key accounts
  • Lead the account management team on a day to day basis
  • Lead a team on the ground that will help you manage partnerships, ensure they receive best-in-class support and build initiatives to engage and retain restaurant partners across your market
  • What You'll Need

  • MBA or relevant business development experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience is expected but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements.
  • Proven experience in partner success / account management in a large business or a growing startup (8+ years preferred)
  • Proven team management experience, with the following manager capabilities : build trust, grow and adapt, operationalizes, develops and coaches, sets vision and connects.
  • Organized, self-driven, and comfortable handling a large number of strategic projects. A proven ability with data driven problemsolving and process management to support strategic thinking ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust with internal / external partners
  • At least 6 years of customer or partner facing experience. Quota-carrying experience preferred, along with a track record of outperforming metrics-based business goals
  • Commercial acumen. Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels.
  • Experience in leading an account management function and / or working cross-functionally.
