Principal Responsibilities and Development Values
The role will be reporting to the Director - CFM Middle East and will be responsible for multiple deliverables, and the following are the key responsibilities :
Work closely with the UAE Customer Franchise team to drive cluster objectives, and leverage best practices
Lead and execute digital transformation for Bahrain across web, mobile and other emerging digital channels
Partner with agencies to brief, conceptualize, create and execute marketing and digital strategies and campaigns
Manage key and complex marketing and digital projects
Conceptualize and execute digital acquisition and Digital platform strategy
In addition to Bahrain vendors, work closely with UAE vendors, to ensure cluster synergies
Control, deal with and resolve country marketing and digital specific issues minimizing franchise and reputational impact
Assist in creating and executing relevant content to attract and engage defined target audiences
Partner with business and product experts to develop messaging and content across multiple communication channels
Collaborate with compliance, legal and product colleagues
Manage recurring deliverables / projects
Support ad hoc projects in addition to day-to-day requests
Control and manage country marketing budget, working closely with cluster Marketing and Digital teams
Drive Digital KPIs as per defined targets
Responsible for driving brand awareness and preference in the local marketplace
Responsible for in country marketing and digital controls (internal controls, adherence to local regulations, etc.)
Managing relevant relationship with local regulators (i.e. Central Bank of Bahrain correspondence, approvals and meetings).

Critical Skills / Experience Required
University graduate / Master’s Degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in banking / financial services - Past Digital, Marketing, Product experience will be an advantage.
Understanding of mobile / online / digital landscape, technology and capabilities.
Arabic language skills are an advantage for this role
