ISA-BOSS : Explosives Safety Officer / Manager
Explosive Safety Officer (ESO)
Basic task order requirements include Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management, by performance of support services and serving as the principal Installation Program Director for Safety (IPD SA), and Explosive Safety Management by performance of support services and serving as the Explosive Safety Officer (ESO) for Isa Air Base, Bahrain, and Commander Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia (CNREURAFSWA) N35.
Tasking includes providing technical expert advice to the Installation Commander of Isa, as well as, supported tenant commands, and planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating a comprehensive agency programs to diverse commands throughout the installations in support of Regional Safety.
These programs require complex controls, development and testing, research and analysis and continuous assessment to effectively manage the functional aspects of the programs.
The goal is to eliminate or minimize serious hazards encountered by military and civilian personnel and to ensure compliance with federal law, Navy instructions and policy.
This task assignment is relevant to the Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) mission.
Typically requires 15 years in related experience above.

Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa / stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
