a. Review the contract documents for each MarineConstruction Package in respect of QA / QC requirements andprocedures and advise the Resident Engineer of any deficiency.
b.Review QA / QC site organization, key personnel CV's as submitted bythe contractors and advise the Resident Engineer of any comments.
c. Conduct and / or participate in company / manager quality ortechnical compliance audits for contractor, sub-contractor orsuppliers.
d. Review QA / QC procedures and document control assubmitted by contractor and its sub-contractor or suppliers.Furthermore, ensure implementation is in compliance with Contractrequirements.
e. Review inspection, test, plans as submitted bycontractor and any subcontractors or suppliers. Furthermore, ensurecompliance with Contract requirements.
f. Attend all activities onsite and ensure their compliance with QA / QC procedure in respect ofthe format signed off by Contractor's QA / QC Manager.
g. Ensuretraceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and upto delivery on site. h. Check all materials and equipment asdelivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materialsand specifications.
i. Closely monitor Site activities, fullycoordinate with PMC discipline engineers, on a daily basis issuingNCR's in case of non-compliance and reporting to Resident Engineerin case of shortage of skilled labourers and / or Site supervisionstaff.
j. Participate with PMC staff in reviewing the Close OutReport as submitted by contractors. k. Coordinate with alldisciplines / contractors for QA / QC and attend Weekly ProgressMeetings.
l. Critically review contractors' health and safety plansto make sure they are comprehensive and tailored for the particularsite, type of works, plant, etc.
m. Monitor and make sure allcontractors, sub-contractors, engineers and visitors comply withthe safety requirements on site.
n. Site environmental monitoring.o. Monitor the contractors' activities to ensure that they complyto the requirements of the MoE.
p. Responsible for emergencyevacuation plan. q. Responsible for first aid. r. Proactiveapproach to prevent / mitigate risk of accidents.
