Egis Bahrain is looking for Resident Engineer for a new project in Bahrain. The Resident Engineer will be leading a team of 10 engineers for construction supervision and managing of a new cargo terminal building at Bahrain Airport.
Job description
Overall supervision of the performance of the Contractor and enforce the provisions of the contracts on all architectural matters.
Ensure the work is progressing as scheduled and is compliant with the latest drawings and specifications.
Enforce and monitor safety rules and regulations.
Provide clarifications on drawings and specifications as and when required by the Contractor.
Complete regular progress reports for submission to Client.
Identifies the resource requirements for the effective supervision of the project aspects of the construction works, and manages the supervision team.
Acts as prime point of contact for the construction supervision aspects of the project, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations, quality control and design modifications.
Builds a trusted relationship with the management team and with the client’s counterpart staff.
Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors.
Manage a team of the Engineer’s site personnel;
Oversee operations and activities of the acceptance quality control.
Profile
Minimum 15 years of experience and minimum 5 year in relevant filed
Bachelor's degree in Civil (PMP certificate is plus)
GCC experience or similar scale international airports
Experience in construction supervision in Airport Cargo / warehouse projects
