Ensuring your staff are aware ofthe organizational vision and strategy, your vision for your unit,and the role they play in achieving such.
Ensuring the OCC operates in compliance withBCAA requirements, company policies & procedures andindustry best practices.
ProvidingSafety Performance Indicator data as required including monitoringrelevant SPI's.
Ensuringcompliance with the relevant Health and Safetylegislation.
Ensuring FlightDispatcher's hold relevant licences with currentvalidity;
Drafting / maintainingDispatch SOPs and the Operations Control Centre Manual.
Developing the annual budget for theOCC.
Rostering crews such thatworkload is evenly distributed, training and administrativerequirements met and maximum use made of crews within limitationsof flight and duty restrictions.
Ensuring that all airports and routes are operationally suitableand meet company requirements;
Setting up ground handling, in accordance with client preference,ensuring appropriate facilities (weight restrictions, parking,aircraft servicing, hangarage, etc), and economical and efficientground handling
Obtaining alloverflight / landing permits, and slots, in accordance with allregulations in an expeditious and economic manner
Co-ordinate trips with all relevantauthorities, i.e. customs, immigrations, airport and civil / militaryauthorities;
