Key responsibilities andaccountabilities :
Preparing the Annual Budget for theOperation Department.
Represent the Company at locallevel on operating issues Prepare annual budgets for the Businessinvolved and review variances on a periodic basis.
Develop & maintain positive & productive workingrelations with Divisions, ensuring support divisions remain focusedon store operations.
Work in liaison with HR team toensure current & future Operational needs of the Market aremet. Set overall Country recruitment targets, reviews inconjunction with Area Managers, eg : Manpower planning, massrecruitment, induction training activity.
Ensureconsistent application of Store Operating Procedures across allDivisions, or for assigned brand clusters.
Work withBrand team across all brands to identify opportunities, planrecovery, re forecast Business Plans & to share BestPractice.
Report on cross brand implementation ofoperational standards & processes in collaboration withbrand Business Directors / Managers.
Ensure the day-to-dayoperational activities of the field Operations teams are adequatelycovered, ensuring brand-operating standards are maintained and alltrading hours are covered.
Be the first point of contactfor the business for all stores.
Ensure consistentapplication of brand operating & visualstandards.
Lead major change & propertydevelopment projects in the Market, e.g. Mall developments, storeopenings. Apply project management expertise coordinating brand,Property & Support Division activity throughout theplanning, development & completion phases.
Support new brands / Business initiatives during the preparation& launch phase in the Market, e.g. resource planning,training, property project liaison compliance with localregulations.
Monitor training & development needsof staff, implement appraisal programs & ensure performancemanagement processes are implemented consistently .
