Department Revenue & Reservation Reporting to Assistant Reservations Manager SUMMARY :
This position isresponsible for responding to guest calls and enquiries about roomreservations, to provide information and reserve rooms for guests.
TheReservations agent will be well versed in promotions, events and pricing tomeet the guests request.
To completelyadhere to the Standard and Procedures in performing his / her duties.
All work will be in line with the hotel’sbusiness plan and in accordance with Wyndham corporatepolicies and procedures, as well as local requirements and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational :
Give ready assistanceby responding promptly and politely to any request or query regarding roomreservation via facsimile, telephone, email based on procedures and policiesprovided.
Answer incoming callsand assist with reservations, confirmations, special request and generalquestion about the hotel.
Explain hotelproducts, service and other information about the hotel as required.
Process, enter andconfirm reservation as per the available inventory.
To be well knowledgeableof current hotel events, activities as well as dining options and operationhours.
Negotiate (ifapplicable) and close deals according to the season so that forecasted revenuewill materialize.
Maintain goodrelationship and harmonious camaraderie to clients and to company contacts toensure return business.
Assist at theReception when required

Ensures that the highest standards of personalhygiene, dress, uniforms and appearance
Attends meetings and trainings required by the DepartmentHead or Hotel Management.
Attends meetings and training as required.
Continuously seeks to endeavor and improve thehotel’s efficient operation and knowledge of own job function.
Ensures all requests and correspondence (e.g.from Department Head) are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
Attends any property meetings that are relevantto the position.
Is knowledgeable about corporate loyalty / Incentive Programmes.
Assists colleagues to perform similar orrelated jobs when necessary.
Ensures guest satisfaction by attending totheir requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently.
Accepts flexible work schedule necessary foruninterrupted service to hotel guests and the hotel’s stakeholders.
Maintains own working area, materials andcompany property clean, tidy and in good shape.

Is well updated on, and possesses solidknowledge of the following :
Hotelfire, bomb and emergency procedures
Hotelhealth and safety policies and procedures
WyndhamHotels standards of operation and departmental procedures
Currentlicensing relating to own responsibility, and to the hotel
Acceptedmethods of payment by the hotel
Corporateclients generating high business volume
Any other reasonable duties as directedby the MANAGER TITLE / DOTTED LINE TITLE
