Summary : Overall accountable of ensuring that operational continuity, stability and improvements of a plant or area of responsibility in order to accomplish the stated goals of the specific business organization based on the predetermined business agreements, criteria’s and QHSE standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Set and oversee activities directly related the business strategies, plans and goals.
Direct and coordinate activities of business with the department leaders to achieve the predetermined production targets and preserve the reliability of the plant.
Review activity reports, and other performance data to measure the productivity and goal achievements obtained and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Manage operational staff, preparing work plans and assigning specific duties.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
Participate in personnel planning and development, performance management, team building, mentoring and other related manpower improvement requirements.
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
Set plans and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Collaborate with other departments to assess, detail & improve on the integrity conditions of the assets.
Observance and enforcement, ensuring all departments are adhering to company and client operating and agreed standards.
Communicate with management any additional difficulties and or support requirements.
Monitor and control at all times production volumes, conditions and specifications within the contractual and designated agreements.
Be familiar with the facilities different contracts requirements
Set up the regular daily, weekly, monthly reports and meetings to communicate and improve on organizational performance.
Set competency development plans for the operational staff.
Be aware of the responsibility role of Senior Supervisor Duties during emergencies.
Interact with the Plant Manager and support those activities for further career developments.
QHSE Duty of Care :
Responsible in their daily operations, Senior Supervisors to implement QHSE policy
Reporting Near misses Incidents and accidents happening in their locations
Participate in accident investigation and reporting
Prepare RCA for all events such as equipment failure, near miss, production loss etc
Ensures that junior staff comply with Company QHSE requirements
Provides a high standard personal example of QHSE.
Contribute to promote company QHSE System using observation cards for improvement suggestions and reporting unsafe conditions
Facilitate and implement QHSE strategy’s and plans set by QHSE and Top Management
Integrated Management Team Member Level (I) Play IMT Role as follows
Shall conduct weekly / random inspections and provide weekly reports / feedback to the Plant Manager.
Permit to work Applicant, Gas Tester, ER Team Member
Establish and implement safe operating procedures.
Address all issues and concerns raised by employees or contractors.
Report all non-conformities reported by clients or work site to QHSE Management
Report, investigate and review incidents in accordance with the QSE-PRC-OMN-EEH-016 Incident Reporting and Investigation procedure.
Monitor progress of HSE performance, maintain a high level of QHSE awareness and encourage employee participation in risk assessment and observation card preparation.
Communicate all improvements, recommendations and / or revisions received to the Plant Manager.
Recommend preventative corrective actions and improvement plans in accordance with the QSE-PRC-OMN-EEH-005 Preventive Action and Corrective Action Control procedure.
Shall assist the Plant Manager to define local QHSE objectives, aligned with the Integrated Management (QHSE) System objectives, and annual improvement goals
Maintain and monitor the HSE observation card program.
Conduct periodic reviews of :
Job Hazard Analyzes (JHA) records;
QHSE inspection procedures;
Maintain the Risk Register.
Preferred Education / Experience :
Technical Or Engineering degree in Industrial Processes, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent.
Good troubleshooting skills, problem solver and information analyzer.
Advanced knowledge of English both written and spoken.
5 years experience in supervisory and managerial skills.
Good knowledge of PC tools (Microsoft Office).
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques.
