The Barista is responsible for creating great experiences for our guests. He / she is knowledgeable about our coffees and teas and helps in the other F&B outlets when required.
He / she helps the colleagues and guest on educating them on the coffee and tea and preparation of it. RESPONSABILITIES
Preparing the coffees, teas and other drinks for guests.
Making sure that the beverages are prepared according to standards and ensuring quality when served.
Selling and serving baked goods and other food.
Using the cash register to put in orders for and do payments with guests.
Being knowledgeable about the menu and products being served in the outlet.
Checking products on expiry and throw products out when necessary, noting it on the spills list.
Maintaining the work place with the standards and hygiene regulation in mind.
Notifying management when there are potential safety hazards.
Clearing and cleaning surfaces and tables.
Help management to improve service; coming with ideas, give feedback from guests and colleagues and attend departmental meeting when necessary.
Routinely does other cleaning jobs like the floors, windows, storage and shelves.
Checking and preparing the work place before the shift starts and at the end of the shift cleaning the work space.
Making sure that the inventory is up to what is necessary to run the shift smoothly, notify supervisors if anything is missing.
Restock supplies and shelves when necessary.
Working together with the team in an efficient manner where communication is key.
Being friendly and courteous towards Associates and guests.
Working in other F&B outlets when required.
Being a representative for the service culture.

Ideally with a relevant certification in Hospitality / Tourism
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience / training in a 4 / 5 star hotel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Proficiency in communication
The ability to work in a team.
The ability to work in shifts and odd hours is required.
