This task includes inventory, warehousing, and life-cycle management of equipment, providing preventive and corrective maintenance guidance on installed equipment, and related services (to provide updated information to the DISA Property Responsible Officer and DISN Equipment manager when the hardware configurations change, and end item accountability transfer action whenever hardware configurations are changed).
All Data Networks / IThardware fielded by DISA before or during the life of this task order will be included unless otherwise stated.
The requirement includes training, licenses, tools, test equipment, and IT equipment, software and other such expenses required to accomplish this Task Order.
Purpose : The objective is to provide Information and Communications Technology (ICT) technical skills and augmentation to support DOD'S efforts to develop action plans and promote a cohesive ICT strategy.
This includes detailed planning support for the identification of end-to- end ICT requirements, development of effective and efficient solutions, architectural integration, logistics support and interoperability necessary to enable the command / control, information / intelligence and collaboration / planning needs of all USCENTCOM stabilization and "long war" missions in Iraq and Bahrain.
Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
Clearance Level Must Currently Possess : Secret
Clearance Level To Obtain : Top Secret (TS)
Bachelors Degree and 6 or masters and 4
The position will require more physical and hands on capability. There is quite a bit of lifting.
In addition, the candidate must be able to drive various types of support equipment. This would include, up to 10 ton cargo trucks and MHE equipment The key to success here is being a good fit to the organization.
That being said the successful candidate would need to be and not limited to these traits be flexible, works well with others, self starter and persistent in completing the requirements.
