The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leads the development of the IT strategy and has overall ownership for development and delivery of IT services to meet business needs.
The CTO will be the first technology go-to expert and he will play an integral role in setting the firm’s strategic direction, development and future growth.
In this position, CTO will oversee overall technology development and utilization plan in managing all information technology resources of The Family Office.
CTO will lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships. This role will be required to manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets.
CTO will consolidate our technology platforms and will create overall new standards and practices in the technology landscape.
It is a technical and strategic role where CTO will be required to take initiatives in innovation, leadership and creativity.
CTO will also work very closely with operations excellence team to deliver new products and enhancements.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate business strategy into technology strategy, manage the IT business relationship and represent technology in business discussions, ensuring necessary technology capabilities of business are developed.
Design and implement a digital focused target operating model to meet the firm wide objective.
Create a culture of performance and value in technology services.
Drive wise technology investment in the organization and shapes the IT organization in terms of responsibilities
Design and implement straight-through-processing for digital operations.
End-to-end architecture and design of unique digital self service offerings for our external and internal stakeholders.
Formulate a business aligned strategy encompassing all IT and business functions.
Accountability for all aspects of operations and digital transformation.
Ability to work in a lean team environment for high impact business outcomes sometimes as an individual contributor if required.
Architected and implemented web-based environments.
Implemented CDN's and edge protection protocols and familiarized with security protocols and data Structure knowledge.
Understands various application development framework and Database Architecture.
Cloud based Serverless Architecture application development for AWS or Azure.
Preferred from Asset Management or Wealth Management industry. Ex : Goldman Sachs, UBS etc.
Prepare lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing and delivery.
Provide IT Strategy Roadmap as and when required.
Supervise architecture plus lead efforts to develop technical roadmap of all projects.
Work closely with business heads to enhance and streamline business processes.
Work with ISV and Software Development Partners for tracking and execution of projects and control costs.
Develop and maintain development process and SOP documentations.
Should have sound understanding of modern application design and usability quality controls.
QUALIFICATION : Bachelor’s degree / Master’s in Engineering / Computer Science or IT-related domain MBA is preferable
CERTIFICATION : The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Zachman Framework for Enterprise Architectures or Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) / ITIL v3 Foundation certification is preferred.
Have 15+ years of hands-on Software Development and Architecture experience in modern programming languages in Digital Banking or Fintech
Project Management / Master Lean Sigma Black Belt Certification
Deep experience in managing risk and compliance in a financial services technology environment Familiarity with SaaS offerings (Micro Services).
Knowledge of API architecture / code line management / Github
15 + Years of management experience required
