Ø The Project Manager is accountable for the preparation, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, monitoring, control, completion and close out of assigned projects, while always ensuring consistency with Company’s strategy, commitments and safety, quality, commercial and operational objectives.
Ø The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring compliance with the Safety, Quality & Environmental requirements of ASRY on all assigned projects, leads by example and actively participates in, or implements, HSE initiatives as appropriate.
Ø The role of the Project Manager is critical to the success of ASRY in delivering projects on time and on budget and requires a committed, proactive, and self-motivated character in order to achieve this, part of which is the understanding and acceptance of the requirement to often work irregular working hours.
Ø Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, or otherwise qualified in a relevant area, and a minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Marine / Ship repair environment
Ø Commercial awareness with experience of contract administration and Client management.
Ø Broad IT experience and particularly an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Ø Fluent in the English language, verbal and written, with extensive experience of its use and application in all types of business communication.
