Scope :
Responsible for the implementation of the Company & Client HSE system, provide internal HSE trainings on HSE topics, procedures and client specifications
Duties and responsibilities :
Verify compliance with the requirements of the HSE Plan,applicable sub-contractor health and safety plan(s) and Client HSEMSrequirements and local regulations
Review and understand contractual obligations regarding HSEroles and responsibilities
Manage site and interfacing with third parties in a mannerconsistent with our contract / subcontract agreements and the applicable standardof reasonable care
Ensure that HSE programs are effectively functioning toprevent and control hazards on the Project
Verify that all employees working in the field have theappropriate level of HSE training, medical surveillance, including requiredspecialty training (e.
g., fall protection, confined space entry, PTW ..)
Conduct HSE orientation for all ENERFLEX team members priorto entering the Project work areas and deliver field HSE training as needed
Maintain active and visible involvement using opencommunication with employees on safety issues on the project
Act as the project Hazard "CommunicationCoordinator" and perform the responsibilities outlined in relevantprocedures
Maintain and analyze HSE Data and verify that project HSEforms, permits and checklists are being used
Conduct incident investigation and ensure distribution tothe management and client representative as applicable
Provide trainings on internal procedure, clientspecification and provide awareness on local regulations
Conduct safety inspections to verify compliance andhighlight areas of improvement
Assist in analyzing the near misses, observations andincidents
Attend HSE meetings as required internally and by the client
Organize and conduct Emergency mock drills with the relevantparties
Ensure that latest HSE documents including specificationsare available with the team and provide necessary awareness
Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all theCompany policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
Perform all other duties as assigned bySupervisor / Manager
Job Specifications
Diploma in Engineering or bachelor’s degree (science)
NEBOSH - IGC (Oil & Gas is preferred). ISO 14001 &18001 knowledge (certificates from recognized institute are preferred)
Minimum 6 years of experience in HSE matters related at oiland gas, construction sites
Hands on experience in conducting day to day operations ofHSE department
Knowledge of international and local HSE regulations
Team Player, respectful, able to work under stress andcustomer oriented
Working Conditions
Flexible. Remote sites work environment.
