About the job

An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join the Front Office team in Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain. The main duties and responsibilities of this role : Checks all VIP arrivals allocation for the evening, night and next morning arrivalsPersonally inspects guestrooms for cleanliness, maintenance and preference set-

up.Greets and escorts VIPs on arrival and departure, ensuring their arrangements are to the guest satisfaction.Oversees & completes any outstanding Front Office duty issue’s as per the handover.

Responds to any requests made to the Front Office duty phone & assumes responsibility for any urgent matters on behalf of Executive Management.

Ensures that all guests and visitors are registered according to the hotel standards.

Monitors the arrival and departure process for all guests to the hotel including functions.

Assumes final escalation level for delayed HotSOS tasks and ensures completion of tasks.

Assumes the role of controller in case of emergency situations until relieved by senior management.

Qualifications

About you : The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 year experience in Guest Services
  • Have the ability to deal with high profile, are solution orientated, motivator, flexible and a team player
  • You will have a very strong command of the English and Arabic languages (verbal and written)
