We are seeking a Product Manager with strong online Hotel product knowledge to support our fast growing Hotels space. This person will drive growth in customer acquisitions, customer conversion, customer profitability, and customer satisfaction conceiving and implementing Hotel product features.
This role will offer the opportunity to define and execute a roadmap based on business vision, market trends, customer feedback and business analytics in the Hotel product space.
The right person will enjoy working with Development teams through the full SDLC. The ideal candidate will have prior product analysis experience in online travel technology (i.
e., Online Travel Agency, airline, eCommerce, tour operator, or GDS) in a high growth eCommerce environment.
Responsibilities : -
Increase attachment rates; partner with tech teams to launch innovative new features / products; work with the design and UX teams to launch simple and compelling user booking path
Package & cross-sell; partner with marketing team to increase visitors to website, and increase callers to contact center from search engines, affiliates partners, meta sites, email promos, etc.
Investigate and understand how visitors engage with our non-air products. Interpret results and translate those insights into recommendations to drive increases in product attachment rates
Customer satisfaction; increase the number of features available on website giving user increased control to book and manage their entire experience online
Requirements : -
3-5 years of experience as a Product Specialist / Business Analyst in an eCommerce environment
2+ years specializing in online hotel product space
Business Analysis - Ability to understand key business drivers of an OTA and estimate the impacts of potential changes in key areas including fare pricing, traffic mix, website design, etc.
Ability to rapidly diagnose and correct declines in website performance KPIs.
Implementation and Results Focus - Must be extremely disciplined in balancing multiple projects and delivering results in fast moving, matrixed environment.
Comfortable with agile product methodology / scrum, 2 week sprint cycles, user stories, story points, and phased implementations.
Technical Product Design - Ability to translate complex business concepts into simple technical solutions which can be implemented by software developers.
Possess a passion for delighting the user with innovative solutions, while meeting supplier and company needs.
Stakeholder Management - Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships internally and externally to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and deliver business results.
Localization - Skilled in customizing websites to appeal in GCC markets; including language translation, intuitive website designs, seasonal marketing programs, etc.
