creates and develops new business to generate incremental revenue for the hotel and assists the Director of Catering in coordinating Sales and Marketing efforts for Catering with the Director of Marketing.
Finalizes all bookings and maximizing revenue potential by upselling.
Coordinates details of daily events with the Chef, Banquet Chef and the Banquet Manager.
Supervises the execution of banquet events to insure high standards of food, beverage and service
Assists the Director of Catering in coordinating aggressive sales efforts of the Catering department to solicit business and in creating and reviewing annual budget and take part of the hotel's business plan.
The successful candidates should have;
Minimum 2-3 years experience in the same position in a luxury international chain
Strong leadership skills and solid business acumen
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask
The ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends, and evenings
The ability to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
Proven track record in handling social and corporate events
Fluent in English and Arabic
Preferably to be a female due to the guests requirements and the type of events
Strong communication skills
