Ensuring that operations are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established corporate operations, procedures, and requirements
Ensuring the handling of shipments as per the company’s guidelines and in line with Schenker KPIs
Using operational systems and ensuring data quality and event KPI
Handling complete KEY ACCOUNTS using Schenker guidelines including sales support.
Delivering high standards of customer service.
Communicate with customers and keep them posted on the shipment status
Adhere to guidelines and policies for all shipments
Review and sign off shipping documents while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Issuing Delivery Order for sea and air.
Seek innovative ways to improve service and cost.
Ensure appropriate coordination with Sales Department
Ensure compliance with import / export regulations for all equipment and materials.
Review and approve and follow up the documents, processes and controls of freight payment and audit system and ensure all documents, SOPs are strictly followed.
Manage archiving of completed files.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Good understanding and knowledge of the logistics industry as well as relevant experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations
Competence to communicate and interact efficiently with people from diverse backgrounds
Three years of extensive knowledge of Schenker Key Accounts Handling in Operations.
Computer literate and proficiency in MS Office
Ability to function in a high pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Schenker Operational software knowledge will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of DG regulation and certification is an added value.
