The Position in more detail :
JC’s Tennis Academy is located in the beautiful desert location of a gated community called Riffa Views and boasts a superb facility with six flood lit hard court tennis courts and 4 indoor mini tennis courts.
The JC’s Academy has approximately 280 playing clients of Juniors and adults and wants to expand.
Position Overview :
The Tennis professional coach will work up to 48 hours / week. This time is divided in approximately 20 hours coaching the academy classes, some internal / staff meetings and the rest is private lessons which you will be encouraged to book and run.
The job is largely an on-court position in which teaching excellence will be of paramount importance. The tennis professional / fitness coach will be responsible for most Mini Tennis, School’s, academy, adult programs, clinics, and lessons.
A strong competitive playing background will be appreciated but is not critical. The tennis pro coach will assist in running the junior programs and reports to the head pro, with input.
You will plan, organize, promote, and run events. Creativity and enthusiasm in planning and promotion are important attributes.

MAJOR DUTIES :
Be able to plan, generate and maintain appropriate documents and paperwork. I.e. Agendas and lessons plans, progress reports.
Demonstrate on and off court, the technical and tactical competencies for all levels and progressions.
Provide group clinics and private instruction for beginner and intermediate adults as well as helping to coordinate adult beginner tournaments.
Develop and coordinate a competitive pathway for the JC’s Mini Tennis Academy and Riffa International School program that includes Play Days, Junior Team Tennis, and tournaments.
Implementing and applying the JC’s Vision, Credo and commitment to service.
The length of the contract is for a two year period.
Demonstrate on-court tennis skills and proven ability to effectively communicate and teach tennis to all levels and ages.
Have excellent leadership qualities.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication.
Hold certification by a recognized teaching certificate.
Pose adequate computer skills.
